Currently, we are looking for an Administrative Services Analyst to join the ABF Freight team. The Administrative Services Analyst will manage and/or lead the development and deployment of various projects across ArcBest. The position manages the business needs of Administrative Services which requires constant collaboration between ArcBest, ABF, and ABTech. The person in this role is highly analytical and adept at finding and executing creative ideal solutions to situations that arise. The Administrative Services Analyst position offers a high degree of responsibility and upper-management exposure.

Your contribution may include:

  • Learn and adhere to internal work processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with other ArcBest departments on developing solutions to complex process issues.
  • Lead projects on new technologies methods and equipment to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce cost.
  • Evaluate and analyze operational customer requirements.
  • Research and collaborate with product owners and IT to shape the ABF’s automation and related platforms.
  • Develop and evaluate measurement systems for the continual improvement of ABF's processes and procedures.
  • Communicate findings to appropriate personnel to aid in the everyday and future decision-making process.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects on analytics as required by Administrative Services Director and other ABF leadership.
  • Work in a team setting to accomplish departmental goals.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As an Administrative Services Analyst, you will be a member of the ABF Freight Administrative Services team in Fort Smith, AR. Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with irregular hours that may occur depending on work load.

Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferred.

Experience: Minimum, three years’ experience in LTL transportation, preferred.

Computer Skills: Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, SQL, and other tools to execute analysis and manage projects.
